Originally, this was a Tacke TW45 which suffered a lightning strike and the TW45 nacelle was destroyed leaving only the tower intact onto which this TW60 Nacelle was then fitted. The working platform on top of the tower had to be modified (the bannister rail had to be made smaller) and the welding sections in this area are slightly corroded which has no affect on functionality and is only of cosmetic nature and can easily stripped off the rust and repainted. This turbine is running without any major problems and is currently still in operation and can be viewed while operating. Full service history available.
